RIC Media Studies faculty Philip Palombo in Video Art Show

Tomorrow, Thursday, November 12th from 6:00 - 9:00PM, Gallery Z will host the launching for its first ever Video Art Exhibition. This will be the first of two receptions for the show and will feature a performance by Elvis Sinatra (George Leonard) and a presentation by Philip Palombo, Dennis Hlynsky, and Mark Goodkin.

The second reception will be the opening reception for the exhibition on Gallery Night, Thursday, November 19th from 5:00 - 9:00 PM. The gallery is excited to embrace a progressive and experimental genre in contemporary art for its 12th exhibit of the year. The show will run from November 3rd through November 28, 2009.

Exhibiting in this show will be a wide variety of artists including:Raphael Diluzio, (RIC Media Studies faculty) Philip Palombo, Kevork Mourad, Dennis Hlynsky, Richard Goulis, Alan Powell, Joshua Pearson, Ed Tannenbaum, Patrick Bergeron, Evans Molina, Laurie McDonald, Elvis Sinatra (George Leonard), and Michelle Ahlborg. Keith Fracassa has created ambient music specifically for this show.
